Bullpadel padel rackets: choose between Ionic, Vertex, Hack and more

Bullpadel's range extends well beyond its professional signature rackets. Start with BP10 EVO for a first racket at standard weight, Ionic CTRL for placement-focused club play, or Ionic Light if reducing weight is the priority. Vertex 05 is our experienced-player starting point for those who already prefer a diamond head and a carbon face.

The exact version matters. Vertex, Hack and Neuron each include products with different constructions, while Comfort, Hybrid, Cloud and special-edition labels can change what you are buying. Compare the full name and year before following a retailer link.

First Bullpadel at standard weight

Bullpadel BP10 EVO padel racket, product photograph supplied by Padel Market

Bullpadel BP10 EVO (2023)

The BP10 EVO in our catalogue is the 2023 model. It has a round head, low balance, Polyglass fibreglass face and SoftEva core, with a specified range of 360–370 g.

It is a useful first-racket comparison for a beginner or improving player who is comfortable with that weight. The tradeoff is the mass you still need to prepare repeatedly: low balance does not make 360–370 g disappear. If your current club racket feels cumbersome late in a session, compare Ionic Light before buying. An older model year may produce an attractive offer, but it does not prove value by itself.

Bullpadel Ionic Control 2026 padel racket

Bullpadel Ionic CTRL 2026

Bullpadel's official name is Ionic Control 26; our catalogue uses Ionic CTRL 2026. The racket has a round head, low balance and MultiEva core, paired with a Glaphite face that mixes carbon and fibreglass. The specified weight is 365–375 g.

It is our route for intermediate players who like building points with blocks, lobs and controlled volleys. The main limitation is weight. If you want a distinctly lighter racket, moving from a 370 g example of your current model to a similarly weighted Ionic CTRL may not answer that need.

Bullpadel Ionic Light 2026 padel racket

Bullpadel Ionic Light (2026)

Ionic Light uses a hybrid head, medium balance, Glaphite face and MultiEva core at 350–360 g. It provides a different comparison from simply choosing the lightest individual unit of Ionic CTRL.

Consider it if lower nominal weight is a clear priority for your club game. The tradeoff is that its shape and balance also differ from CTRL, so it is not the identical racket with some grams removed. Choose by the specification and your handling preference. A retailer's gender category does not decide who can use this setup.

Bullpadel Vertex 05 padel racket, product photograph supplied by Padel Market

Bullpadel Vertex 05 (2026)

Vertex 05 combines a diamond head, high-balance classification, X-Tend Carbon 12K face and MultiEva core. Bullpadel lists a 365–375 g range and an intermediate touch, while placing the product in its professional range.

This is an experienced-player recommendation, despite the moderate touch label. In his 2026 Vertex comparison, Stéphane Penso reported a direct response and limited tolerance on off-centre contact with the standard 05. Compare it if the shape and construction fit your existing preferences; do not buy it as a shortcut to cleaner technique.

The comparison includes researched adult products with verified retailer listings, covering several years and different versions. Use level and weight filters to reduce the list before comparing the range names.

A valid older or temporarily unavailable product can remain worth researching. We keep its actual year visible and avoid quoting a current price when we cannot confirm one. Junior replicas are separate products and do not belong in this adult comparison.

About Bullpadel

Bullpadel was founded in 1995 by a group of Argentine and Spanish professionals. Aguirre y Cía took over the brand in 2005, changing its logo and reorganising design and production. The Madrid-based company still lists Bullpadel among its own brands, alongside John Smith and +8000.

Padel is the centre of Bullpadel's business, with rackets, footwear, clothing, bags and accessories built around the sport. Professional players are closely tied to particular racket families. Bullpadel develops Hack with Paquito Navarro and associates XPLO with Martín Di Nenno.

In May 2024, Bullpadel and Premier Padel announced an agreement covering technical clothing and rackets through the end of the 2026 season. It included a Premier Padel collection and a separate range for the tour Finals. That partnership explains the tournament-branded rackets and kit that appear alongside Bullpadel's regular collections.

The Bullpadel families

Ionic: Control, Power and Light

Ionic Control and Ionic Power share the Glaphite and MultiEva material names in our catalogue, but their shape and balance differ. Control is round with low balance. Power is diamond with high balance. Both are listed at 365–375 g.

Ionic Light changes the comparison again with a 350–360 g range, hybrid head and medium balance. Decide which of those differences matters to you. A lower weight is a useful reason to investigate Light; a preference for a round, lower-balance setup points toward Control.

We reviewed player discussion about Ionic Control in which much of the advice actually concerned Ionic Power. That is a reminder to check which version someone used before applying their opinion to your shortlist.

Vertex: standard, GEO and older generations

The standard Vertex 05 in this shortlist uses X-Tend Carbon 12K. The researched 2026 Vertex 05 GEO uses X-Tend Carbon 3K and a different head design. They are separate options, not two offers for the same racket.

Our catalogue also includes Vertex 04 and a 2024 Mexico edition. Keep their actual year and construction visible when comparing them with 05. An appealing special finish may be part of what you want to buy, but it does not establish an improvement in performance.

The standard 05 is a starting point for an experienced diamond-racket comparison. It is not a claim that every player should choose it over GEO or an older Vertex they already know they like.

Hack: check Hybrid and Comfort carefully

The Hack records include the standard diamond models, Hybrid versions and Hack 04 CMF. The CMF record uses a Fibrix carbon-and-fibreglass face and a 360–370 g range, while other Hack versions have different face constructions and weight specifications.

The 2025 and 2026 Hybrid records also need their own comparison. Do not transfer a review from one year to the other simply because the name looks unchanged. If you prefer a lower-balance option within Hack, investigate the exact Hybrid model, then check whether its finished weight still suits you.

Premier and Dale Candela editions have separate identities. Buy one if you specifically want that edition after confirming the full specification and retailer match. We do not assign a different playing award solely because the finish changes.

Neuron and Cloud: the core matters

Our catalogue includes Neuron 02, its Premier edition and the 2025 Neuron Cloud. Cloud uses a different construction: CloudEva with an Elastic Fiber face. Its official specification lists a hybrid head and a nominal 365 g weight.

It is the model to compare if softer contact is central to your search. It should not inherit a Neuron 02 description merely because the family name matches. Nor does the word Cloud promise that the racket will solve an injury or make every impact comfortable for every player.

The researched Pearl Cloud also uses CloudEva, with its own shape and weight range. Treat it as a separate option and compare the actual handling rather than assuming every Cloud racket feels identical.

Elite, Wonder and Pearl: compare the specification

Elite W and Wonder are among the 350–360 g performance models in our catalogue. Both use hybrid heads and Fibrix, while Pearl provides a diamond option at a different specified weight.

These products deserve the same practical assessment as the rest of the range. Look at weight, balance, face and core, then decide whether the racket supports your game. Player endorsements and gender labels are context; they are not a substitute for fit.

Xplo and Icon: experienced-player alternatives

Xplo 2026 has an advanced attacking profile in our research, with a high-balance diamond setup. Icon records sit at 370–375 g, making weight an immediate question for the buyer.

Compare them if you already know you prefer a substantial racket and can prepare it reliably throughout a session. If you are simply looking for a first upgrade, start with the problem you want to solve before selecting the most aggressive name in the range.

Ionic CTRL or Ionic Light?

Choose the feature you want to change. CTRL retains a round head and low balance at standard weight. Light reduces the nominal range and uses a hybrid shape with medium balance.

Try both if possible, using your ordinary grip setup. Compare a defensive ball after the glass, a blocked volley and repeated preparation at the net. A scale weight and balance label narrow the shortlist, but they cannot measure whether you like the finished racket in your hand.

Vertex or Hack?

These family names are too broad to settle a purchase. Compare exact pairs, such as Vertex 05 2026 and Hack 04 2026, or an eligible Hybrid model against another lower-balance option. Include the material and weight differences that distinguish those products.

Reviews may emphasise power, control or feel differently because the reviewer values different shots and uses a different setup. An attributed observation can help you decide what to test. It should not become a universal ranking or a claim that one family is always more forgiving.

Should you buy an older Bullpadel?

An older model can remain a sensible purchase when its specification, condition and current retailer terms suit you. The 2023 BP10 EVO is an example of a product whose age alone does not remove its usefulness as a first-racket comparison.

Compare the actual price you would pay with relevant alternatives. Ignore the size of a discount from an old recommended price until you know whether the racket fits. Keep the year in your comparison and do not assume a newer product with the same family name has the same construction.

Check the finished setup

Weight ranges describe a model, not the exact unit you will receive. Ask the retailer about selection if a few grams matter to you, then account for your usual grips and any added protection.

Some performance models support optional weights. Begin with a manageable setup and change one thing at a time. Adding every available weight because it came with the racket is not a reasoned fitting decision.

Before you buy

Start with the need you can describe, such as less weight, a lower balance or a different contact response. Compare the exact model and year that answers it rather than choosing a professional's name.

Check the full name and manufacturer code on the retailer page, ask about unit weight if it matters, and account for your own grip setup. Prices and stock can change without changing which racket fits your game.

Frequently asked questions

Which Bullpadel should a beginner investigate?

BP10 EVO 2023 is our standard-weight starting point. Compare a lower-weight option such as Ionic Light if 360–370 g is more than you want to handle.

Are Ionic CTRL and Ionic Control the same model here?

Yes. This page uses the catalogue's Ionic CTRL 2026 label for the exact product Bullpadel calls Ionic Control 26. The year and product identity must still match.

Is Ionic Light just a lighter Ionic CTRL?

No. The researched models also differ in shape and balance. Light is hybrid with medium balance; CTRL is round with low balance.

Is Vertex 05 suitable for every intermediate player?

No. Our starting recommendation targets experienced players who already prefer its diamond shape and construction. A manufacturer's touch label is not the same thing as a player-level recommendation.

Are Neuron Cloud and Neuron 02 interchangeable?

No. Their face and core constructions differ. Check the full version before transferring a review or comparing offers.

Do special editions automatically perform better?

No. A special design or event association is not evidence of better performance. Confirm the exact construction and buy the edition for reasons that matter to you.

How we chose

The PadelFormat editorial team checked exact model identities and available manufacturer specifications, then reviewed independent testing and player discussion. The shortlist gives four distinct entry points into a large catalogue. We retain useful older products, leave unconfirmed fields unknown and keep recommendations stable when prices or stock change. Affiliate relationships do not decide which racket fits a playing need.

Use the racket chooser to compare Bullpadel with other brands. The full racket database lets you filter a wider range, while the budget guide helps if price is your main constraint.
