We find the Icon's strongest case in a controlled attacking game. Its intermediate touch sits between a very soft foam response and the driest power rackets. The textured face adds another reason to consider it if sliced volleys and overheads are part of your game.
The 370–375 g starting range needs care. A favourable first impression in your hand does not tell you how it will feel after repeated defensive blocks and overheads. Ask for the individual racket's weight and include your usual grip setup when comparing alternatives.
The standard model suits players who want the carbon-and-MultiEva construction. Cloud changes both the face and the foam for softer contact. We would compare them through depth control and feedback, rather than assume the standard model automatically produces more useful power for every player.
