Bullpadel Icon (2027)

Editorial assessment · 2027 model

The Bullpadel Icon 2027 is a 370–375 g diamond racket with a roughly 263 mm balance, 12K carbon faces and MultiEVA. We favour it for experienced players who like a substantial racket for attacking volleys and overheads, while preferring a medium feel to an especially hard response.

Best for
Experienced players who like mass through the ball and a medium-feel attacking setup.
Main trade-off
The substantial starting weight can make repeated defensive preparation harder.

Our assessment

A substantial racket with a measured feel

We would choose Icon when its weight is part of the attraction. If you enjoy carrying mass through a controlled volley, the specification makes sense. If you tend to react late at the net, a brief overhead trial is not enough: include repeated body volleys and low pickups.

The 12K face does not make Icon the hardest Bullpadel. Its stated feel is medium, so compare it with Hack on response rather than the carbon number.

Check the setup before adding weight

The 370–375 g range is already substantial before extra grips. Start there before using CustomWeight. If you want the softer Icon Cloud response, compare that distinct construction; Cloud and Icon are not interchangeable names.

Consider an alternative if: You depend on a light racket for late reactions or are still learning consistent contact.

Strengths

  • Medium feel within an attacking diamond profile.
  • Textured 3D Grain face.
  • Adjustable weight and ergonomic grip system.

Drawbacks

  • High starting mass needs a handling trial.
  • Off-centre or late contact remains a meaningful trade-off.

The Bullpadel Icon Cloud 2025 pairs a diamond head with a soft CloudEva core and ElasticFiber fibreglass faces. We see it as a softer-contact option for experienced players who still want a substantial attacking racket. Its 370 g nominal weight and roughly 265 mm balance deserve as much attention as the Cloud name.
