Review methodology
How we evaluate padel rackets and other gear: what we verify, what we test, and how we separate manufacturer claims from our own judgement.
Four kinds of information, never mixed
- Manufacturer claims, labelled as such.
- Verified technical specifications from more than one source where possible.
- Hands-on testing, with the testing conditions described.
- Aggregated user-review data, with its origin stated.
What we assess
For rackets: shape, weight range, balance, core and face materials, surface, sweet spot, and how those translate into power, control, comfort and manoeuvrability for a given level and playing style.
What we will not do
- Invent ratings, test results, prices, discounts, stock status or reviews.
- Present marketing material as independent testing.
- Publish an aggregate rating we did not genuinely collect.
- Let a commercial relationship change a verdict.
Freshness
Specifications, offers and verdicts carry a last-reviewed date. Prices and availability show when they were last checked, and stale claims are hidden rather than displayed.
