Advertising Disclosure
PadelFormat may display advertising, publish clearly identified sponsored material or work with commercial partners. Advertising is kept separate from independent editorial decisions.
How advertising is labelled
Paid placements are labelled clearly using terms such as:
- Advertisement
- Sponsored
- Paid partnership
The label is placed where the reader sees the commercial content. It is never hidden in the footer, in metadata or on this disclosure page.
Editorial control
Advertisers and sponsors do not control independent articles, product rankings, reviews or verdicts.
Payment does not guarantee:
- Editorial coverage.
- A favourable review.
- A place in a best-of list.
- A higher ranking.
- Removal of justified criticism.
If a sponsor has reviewed material for factual accuracy, that does not give the sponsor control over the editorial conclusion.
Sponsored content
Any sponsored article or commercial feature is labelled at the top of the page before the main content.
Sponsored material must not imitate an independent review. Claims supplied by an advertiser are attributed or checked before publication.
Display advertising and tracking
Contextual advertising may be displayed without building a behavioural profile.
Any advertising technology that stores identifiers, follows visitors across websites or creates an advertising profile remains blocked until the visitor gives the required consent.
Affiliate links
Affiliate links are covered separately in the Affiliate Disclosure. An affiliate commission does not turn an independent article into sponsored content, but the link must still be disclosed near the recommendation.
Corrections and questions
Use the contact form to report an advertisement that is misleading, incorrectly labelled or technically disruptive.
