Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid (2027)

Editorial assessment · 2027 model

The Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2027 puts a hybrid head and roughly 250 mm balance around 12K carbon and MultiEVA. We recommend it to experienced players who like a substantial racket but want a more control-led Vertex choice. It still weighs 365–375 g.

Best for
Experienced players seeking lower-balance handling within the Vertex range.
Main trade-off
The lower balance helps the handling brief, but it does not remove the racket's total mass.

Our assessment

Hybrid is a meaningful change

We would compare this first if the standard Vertex feels too committed toward the head for your game. The Hybrid lists a lower balance and a different shape while retaining the same named face and core materials.

Use defensive lobs, compact volleys and quick direction changes for the comparison. Those shots are more revealing than a few clean smashes when the purpose of the change is preparation and placement.

Keep the weight in view

Hybrid does not mean light. The 365–375 g range remains substantial, especially after grips and a protector. Start with the stock setup before adding CustomWeight. If your main problem is overall fatigue, compare a lower-weight model as well as a lower balance.

Consider an alternative if: You want a genuinely light racket or the strongest attacking bias in the range.

Strengths

  • Hybrid shape and lower balance distinguish it from standard Vertex.
  • Medium-feel 12K carbon and MultiEVA construction.
  • Top Spin texture.

Drawbacks

  • Substantial weight even with a lower balance.
  • Less attacking bias than Geo or Hack.
