Best Budget Padel Rackets 2026

The NOX X-Zero Blue is our first choice for a budget starter racket. Compare the SIUX Beat Control if you want a low balance. The HEAD Vibe suits you if you prefer a teardrop head. For improving players, the two NOX Equations offer a clear choice of feel. The Bullpadel K2 Power covers an attacking setup.

We selected rackets available for €150 or less at this review. Use that as a shopping budget; local prices and delivery charges vary.

The rackets in detail

1. Best overall budget racket

NOX X-Zero Blue (2026)

In stock

NOX X-Zero Blue 2026 padel racket
We would start here if you need a first racket and want to keep the cost down. The X-Zero combines a round head and soft HR3 White EVA with a 350–360 g range. That gives a beginner a useful starting specification without paying for adjustable weights or a competition model. Compare it with the SIUX below if knowing the balance is important to your choice.

Best for: New and occasional players buying a straightforward adult racket.

Consider another option if: You already know you prefer a firm response.

Main trade-off: Its balance is unpublished, so the weight alone cannot settle the handling comparison.

2. Best low-balance option

SIUX Beat Control 3 (2026)

In stock

SIUX Beat Control 3 2026 padel racket
Choose the Beat Control for its weight distribution. SIUX lists a low balance, which makes it worth comparing if you dislike weight concentrated at the head. The 355–375 g range is broad, though. Ask the shop to weigh its stock if you want a unit near the lighter end; the same model name can cover a noticeable difference on the scale.

Best for: Beginners who prefer a round head and low balance.

Consider another option if: You need every unit to weigh less than 360 g.

Main trade-off: Low balance does not make its upper weight range lightweight.

3. Best teardrop starter

HEAD Vibe (2026)

In stock

HEAD Vibe 2026 padel racket in blue and yellow
The Vibe gives this shortlist an alternative to the round beginner models. HEAD lists a teardrop head, medium balance and soft feel. Its nominal 350 g weight is also lower than the Coello Vibe's 356 g. We prefer the standard Vibe here as a straightforward starting point; the shared Vibe name does not make the two models interchangeable.

Best for: New and casual players who prefer a teardrop head.

Consider another option if: You want a firm carbon face or a confirmed weight below 350 g.

Main trade-off: The 350 g figure is nominal, so a specific unit can differ.

4. Best for a softer feel

NOX Equation Soft Advanced (2026)

Nox Equation Soft Advanced 2026 (Racket) product photograph supplied by the retailer
The Equation Soft is worth the extra comparison once you know you like softer contact. Its HR3 Soft EVA core separates it from the Hard version, while both offer a round head, medium balance and a textured face. Pick between them by feel. The current NOX listing puts Soft at 360–375 g, so it is a poor choice if your main aim is reducing weight.

Best for: Improving players who prefer softer contact and a round head.

Consider another option if: You want a racket reliably below 360 g.

Main trade-off: Soft feel comes with a standard adult weight range.

5. Best for a firmer feel

NOX Equation Hard Advanced (2026)

In stock

Nox Equation Hard Advanced 2026 (Racket) product photograph supplied by the retailer
The Hard version belongs here because affordable rackets should cover more than soft beginner models. NOX pairs HR3 Hard EVA with a fibreglass face and describes an intermediate-hard feel. Try it alongside Soft if your current racket feels too springy on blocks. The published weight ranges overlap, so choose the response you prefer rather than assuming Hard always weighs less.

Best for: Intermediate players who want firmer contact without moving to a diamond head.

Consider another option if: You prefer a soft response on slower shots.

Main trade-off: The firmer feel will not suit everyone who likes the Equation shape.

6. Best budget attacking option

Bullpadel K2 Power (2025)

In stock

Bullpadel K2 Power padel racket, product photograph supplied by Padel Market
The K2 Power gives improving players an attacking option without a flagship price. It combines a diamond head and high balance with a Polyglass fibreglass face and SoftEva core. We would compare it once you know you like weight toward the head. Its older model year is less important than whether the 360–370 g setup suits your volleys and overheads.

Best for: Intermediate players who already prefer a head-heavy attacking racket.

Consider another option if: You are buying your first racket and have not tried a high-balance model.

Main trade-off: The price and softer materials do not remove the high-balance handling demand.

How we choose

We compared the researched rackets for useful differences in level, weight, balance, and feel. Older models can qualify when their specifications and current offer make sense.

Manufacturer details establish the specifications. Exact-model retailer listings help check offers; available playing reports help identify questions worth trying on court.

We choose from rackets listed by our retail partners. Each pick suits the player described. Commission rates do not determine our choices.

Budget racket buying guide

Check the delivered price

A low headline price can lose its advantage once shipping is added. Compare the exact model and colour, the total you will pay and the retailer's return terms. A crossed-out price is not a reason to choose an unsuitable racket.

Start with the setup you can use

If you have tried a club racket that suits you, note its weight, balance and feel. Use those details to narrow the options. A beginner label covers rackets with quite different weights and shapes.

Choose the feel before the material name

A carbon face is not an automatic upgrade. The Equation Hard uses fibreglass and still has a firmer published feel than Equation Soft. Core, face and the rest of the construction work together.

Spend more for a reason

A different feel, weight or head shape can justify changing rackets. A newer year or a longer technology list cannot tell you whether the replacement suits your game. Try a candidate before spending more when you can.

Useful FAQs

What counts as a budget padel racket?

For this guide, we used €150 or less for the racket at the time of review. Shipping is extra where shown, and prices in other regions can differ. Use the live offer to check today's total.

Which budget racket should a beginner choose?

Start with the NOX X-Zero Blue. Compare the SIUX Beat Control for its low balance or the HEAD Vibe for a teardrop shape. Choose the weight and feel that suit you before considering a higher-balance attacking racket.

Can an intermediate player use a budget racket?

Yes. The Equation Soft and Hard give intermediate players a choice of response, and the K2 Power offers a diamond, high-balance setup. The useful question is what you want your racket to do differently, rather than how much you should spend to match your level.

Should I choose Equation Soft or Hard?

Choose Soft if you prefer softer contact; compare Hard if you want a firmer response. Both are round with medium balance. Their weight ranges overlap, so ask for the actual unit weight if that will decide the purchase.

Is an older discounted racket a good buy?

It can be. Check the exact model, condition, delivered price and return terms. A discounted advanced racket still needs to suit your level and preferred setup.

Will these rackets always cost less than €150?

No. Prices and regional availability change. The selection records our review; the offer panels show the current buying information. If a pick moves above your budget, compare the other suitable options here.
