League and ladder organiser
Run a padel competition over several weeks with fixed pairs. Choose a league with fixtures by matchweek and a table, or a challenge ladder where pairs climb by beating the pair above. Enter set scores as matches are played. Saved in this browser, no account.

How it works
- Add 2 to 32 pairs. Each pair needs two player names; a pair name is optional.
- Pick one set, best of three, or best of three with a deciding match tie-break. Scores must be complete and legal, such as 6–4, 7–5, 7–6 or a match tie-break of 10–8.
- League: set a first matchweek date if you have one, and later weeks follow weekly. Change any fixture's date when a match moves. Without a date a fixture shows as Unscheduled.
- Ladder: the order you enter is the starting ladder. Record a challenge, add a date if agreed, then enter the result or cancel it.
- Correct or clear a league result at any time. In a ladder, undo the latest result to correct it; the page lists anything else that changes before you confirm.
Playing on one day instead?
This page runs a season over weeks. For a single session, the tournament planner compares formats for your players and courts, the Round Robin generator schedules every pair on your courts, and the match scorekeeper scores one match point by point.
Questions about leagues and ladders
- What is the difference between a league and a ladder?
- In a league every pair plays every other pair, once or twice, one matchweek at a time, and the table decides the winner. In a ladder the pairs are ranked and a pair challenges one ranked just above it. Win the challenge and you take that place. A league suits a fixed season; a ladder suits open-ended play where pairs arrange matches themselves.
- How is the league table ranked?
- By matches won, then set difference, then game difference, then games won. Pairs level on all four share the place. A match tie-break counts as one set and adds no games. A rest week in an odd-numbered league is not a result.
- How does a ladder move?
- If the challenger wins and is still below the challenged pair, it takes that pair's place and every pair in between drops one. If the challenged pair wins, nothing moves. A pair can have one open challenge at a time and can challenge up to a set number of places above itself (three unless you change it). These are this tool's club rules, not an official ladder regulation.
- What happens when a pair withdraws?
- Results they already played stay. In a league their remaining fixtures are cancelled and nobody gets a win for them, so pairs can end with different numbers of matches. In a ladder they leave the ranking, pairs below move up one, and their open challenges are cancelled.
- Where is the season saved?
- In this browser on this device, not in an account. You can keep up to twelve seasons and switch between them. Clearing browser data or changing device loses them, so download a backup after each matchweek. Import backup adds the file as a new season and never replaces one you already have.
- Can players follow the table on their phones or a TV?
- Yes, if you turn on the live scoreboard. It creates a view-only link, QR code and big-screen view with the table, upcoming matches and recent results. Anyone with the link sees names and results. Changes are sent while this page is open and online; viewers see the last shared update. Turning sharing off or making a new link stops the old one straight away.
