The Air Viper 2.6 is the Babolat to compare when you want a carbon-faced attacking racket with an even balance and a 355 g weight target. Its teardrop shape, 16K carbon face and X-EVA core separate it from the heavier diamond-shaped Technical Viper. It also shares its nominal weight with Air Veron. The useful question is whether you prefer the Viper's response across a full rally, including defensive shots taken with little preparation.

Try Air Viper and Air Veron with the same ball and in the same session where possible. Include lobs under pressure, low balls off the back glass and short blocks at the net. Decide whether the Viper gives you a response you can use on those shots, as well as on clean overheads.
If your aim is to add substantially more racket mass, look at the Technical Viper's 370 g target and head-heavy balance instead. That is a different choice from changing materials within the Air range.
Consider an alternative if: You want the lighter target and fibreglass face of Air Vertuo, or deliberately prefer more head weight.

An even-balanced Air with a CarbonFlex face and a nominal weight of 355 g. Worth comparing if you want an attacking racket without a head-heavy specification. Air Viper changes the face and core, rather than the headline weight.
