A lighter racket is worth trying if you often feel late bringing the head into position. It still needs to suit your contact and preparation. During a demo, include serve returns and volleys against a partner who hits firmly, rather than judging it only while rallying gently.

If you can already use a heavier club racket comfortably, compare the Air Veron as well. Its CarbonFlex face and 355 g target offer a different starting point. Neither model needs to be an automatic stepping stone to the Viper.
