Adidas Adipower 3.2 (2023)

Editorial assessment · 2023 model

The Adipower 3.2 (2023) is worth considering if you already attack confidently and want to compare older models with today's options. Its diamond head, EVA High Memory core and 15K aluminized carbon face put it on the attacking side of the Adipower range. It asks you to keep preparing early when rallies speed up. If low defensive balls and hurried blocks cause most of your errors, an easier-handling racket deserves a closer look.

Best for
Experienced players who prepare overheads early and prefer a firmer response when they swing through the ball.
Main trade-off
Prepared attacks suit it better than hurried defensive shots.

Our assessment

Overheads and defence

Padel.FYI's tester found plenty of attacking power and good placement, but also struggled to get the racket ready for some balls. One Reddit owner who compared the standard 3.2 with the CTRL preferred this version for prepared overheads and the CTRL for lobs and difficult defensive returns. That is a useful distinction if you are choosing between them. Compare those same shots if you can demo both versions.

Check which Adipower you are buying

Adipower 3.2 names several different rackets from the same collection. This is the standard diamond model. The CTRL version has a round head. The Light uses a different core and face material as well as a lighter specification. The Multiweight versions add adjustable weights. Match the full model name and year before comparing offers, especially when a shop uses the same photograph or shortened title across the range.

Buying a 2023 model

Judge the offer against what you could buy for the same delivered price today. The original launch price does not tell you whether the current deal is good. Ask whether the seller can confirm the weight of the actual racket and check the condition, return terms and product identity. A low price only helps if you want this model's playing characteristics.

Consider an alternative if: You want a forgiving first racket or find yourself reaching late for low balls and quick volleys.

Strengths

  • Strong attacking potential when you have time for a full swing.
  • Moulded face texture for players who use slice and spin.
  • Fixed construction for players who do not want to adjust screw weights.

Drawbacks

  • The higher hitting area takes adjustment if you are used to a round control racket.
  • Its handling can become demanding in fast exchanges and longer matches.

FAQ

Is the Adipower 3.2 suitable for beginners?
It would not be our first choice. Its attacking fit asks more of your preparation and contact point. If you are learning to keep rallies going, start by comparing more forgiving options you can move comfortably.
How much does the Adipower 3.2 weigh?
The published range is 360–375 g. Ask the seller for the weight of the individual racket if this affects your decision. Extra grips and protectors change the weight you will play with.
